# Download a CV from LinkedIn

1. Go to the profile on LinkedIn.
2. Open the Chrome Extension
3. If the record does not exist in Salesforce make sure you create a Contact or a Lead
4. Click on the 3 dots button ⋮
5. Click on the type of CV you would like to upload to Salesforce

# Two types of CV generation:

### 1. PipeLaunch Quick CV

By choosing the first option, you can generate a shorter CV that is instantly generated.

* **Data Generation:** Generated by reading the LinkedIn data.
* **Data Gathering:** Gathers all available data from base LinkedIn profile page.
* **Data Quality:** Most recent profile developments, exact copy of information available on the page; partial data.
* **Career Timeline Chart:** Does not include a career-timeline chart.
* **Visual Appeal:** Visually appealing with data arranged in a proper representation, including icons, etc.
* **Skills and Endorsements:** Does not include the candidate's skills along with endorsements.


### 2. PipeLaunch Full CV

By choosing the second option, you can generate a Career-timeline specific CV.

* **Data Generation:** Generated by reading the LinkedIn data with unlimited CV downloads (instead of 200 per month).
* **Data Gathering:** Gathers data along with company logos, making each experience summary distinct.
* **Data Quality**: Exact copy of all available profile data.
* **Career Timeline Chart:** Includes a career-timeline chart.
* **Visual Appeal:** Visually appealing with data arranged in a proper representation, including icons, etc.
* **Skills and Endorsements:** Includes the candidate's skills along with endorsements.
* **Recruiters' Understanding:** Easy for the recruiter to understand the candidate profile.

When you select the second option, PipeLaunch will generate a comprehensive CV featuring a career-specific timeline, skills, educational background, experience, and more.

### Next Step:

Once you complete you can go to the record in Salesforce and you will find the PDF under the related records.
