Salesforce DigiCert G2 Root Certificate Change
What changed?
In February 2026, Salesforce updated its digital certificate infrastructure. All Salesforce certificates are now chained from the DigiCert Global Root G2. Any integration that does not trust this root certificate will fail to establish a secure connection to Salesforce.
Is PipeLaunch affected?
No. PipeLaunch is fully compatible with this change. No action is required on your end.
Here is what we verified on our infrastructure:
- Outbound calls to Salesforce — our servers have the DigiCert Global Root G2 installed in their trust stores, so all calls from PipeLaunch to your Salesforce org continue to work without interruption.
- Inbound calls from Salesforce — our API endpoint (
api.pipelaunch.com) uses Amazon Root CA certificates, which are part of the Mozilla Root Certificate Store and are trusted by Salesforce.
What do you need to do?
Nothing. PipeLaunch handles certificate trust on our infrastructure. Your Salesforce integration will continue to function normally.
What if I'm seeing connection errors?
If you are experiencing issues connecting PipeLaunch to Salesforce after February 2026, it is unlikely to be related to this certificate change. Please contact our support team at support@pipelaunch.com
