Setup PipeLaunch Signals

You can set up signals to start the automatic enrichment of your Salesforce records in just 3 simple steps.

1- Enable the signals that you want to receive

Go to PipeLaunch Settings > Signals > Object Name (e.g. Contacts) and browse the signals available for the object. For Contacts, you have 4 options: Find LinkedIn™ Profile; Company Change; Name Mismatch and Job Title Change.
Enable the signal to see the additional options.

2- Decide if you want to enable any automation

By default, a PipeLaunch doesn’t update your records automatically. All the signals detected will appear under the PipeLaunch Signals tab, and any user with access can confirm the changes seen. If your organisation requires some time of human verification before any record is updated, this is the way to go.
If you want to automatically update your records (you can still check the signals detected by going to the PipeLaunch Signals tab and filter by “closed” signals) enable the following checkbox:

Lowering the confidence score will make a less strict comparison between your Salesforce records and the new data suggested.
If you have any custom workflow to trigger, you can enable an Autolaunched flow execution.

After you have all the desired signals enabled and set up, click the Save button at the bottom.

3- Setup the Schedule job

Click on the Setup button to start the Schedule wizard. From here, you just need to set up 2 steps (basically “what” and “when”).

3.1 – Select which records should be scanned

There’s no limit on the number of records to check. The only limit is the number of credits that you have to run the operation successfully.
If you want to just run the scheduler on some records, you can use a SOQL filter. Example: if you're going to select the records created or updated last quarter, you can use this expression LastModifiedDate > LAST_QUARTER.
Confirm the records that will be processed in the “Preview” step.

The preview is limited to the first 15 records

3.2 – Select when the job should run

Select the option “Schedule interval” and configure the execution time.

Click on the Confirm button to finalise the scheduled job setup.

While the job is running, you can monitor the changes by going to the PipeLaunch Signals tab and see if any new signal is created. After the job is done, you will receive a Salesforce notification (bell icon).
