Why I cannot see Profile Pictures on Contacts or Company Logos in Salesforce
If you're unable to see profile pictures on contacts or company logos in Salesforce, it's likely due to security settings that block external images from being displayed. Salesforce enforces strict content security policies to protect your data and ensure that external content is safe. However, this can sometimes result in images not being displayed as expected. One common reason for this issue is that the URLs hosting the images are not recognized as trusted by Salesforce. To resolve this, you need to set up trusted URLs in Salesforce.
To see profile pictures and company logos, you need to add the PipeLaunch image hosting URL to the trusted sites in Salesforce. Here’s how you can do that:
Navigate to CSP Trusted Sites:
Log in to Salesforce as an administrator.
Go to Setup by clicking on the gear icon in the top-right corner.
In the Quick Find box, type Trusted URLs and click on it when it appears.
Add a New Trusted URL:
Click on New Trusted URL.
Enter a API name for the site: pipelaunch
In the Trusted Site URL field, enter the base URL: *.pipelaunch.com
Mark the Active checkbox
Select the img-src (images) checkbox under the CSP directives
Click Save.
Once you’ve added the necessary URLs, check to see if the images now load correctly. You may need to refresh the page or clear your cache.
Note: some LinkedIn profile pictures are marked as private and they cannot be displayed
